Langhe-Roero and Monferrato are home to landscape that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014.
A living landscape that is home, school and journey all in one.
It is a place for careful observers, respectful passers-by and those who wish to learn about and protect the vineyard landscape of southern Piedmont.
Here stories combine with slow words and open maps, rows of vines that smell of must and gestures that recount memories.
The soul of this landscape is revealed through a myriad of nuances.
This can be seen in the Langhe, where the land's elegance meets a passion for food and wine; in the Roero, where biodiversity, silence, trails and slow journeys are preserved; and in the Monferrato, a land of living traditions and work culture, where the past and present are closely intertwined.
Six distinct "components" give shape to these three souls, united by a common identity based on care, beauty and deep roots. It is an invitation to slow down.
To listen. To feel. To connect with the land, with those who live there and with those who pass through it.

The six components of the UNESCO site
The six components form its beating heart, surrounded by a buffer zone that ensures their protection.
