On Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, 2026, the Salone Marescalchi at Castello del Monferrato will host "Vitality and Safety," an initiative dedicated to personal well-being, prevention, and safety. The initiative is promoted by the Casale Monferrato Group of the National Association of State Police, in collaboration with the Casale dei Marchesi di Monferrato Lions Club, and under the patronage of the City of Casale Monferrato. The event, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., will offer two days open to the public, featuring lectures, demonstrations, and information sessions on disciplines and practices aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being and quality of life. A variety of activities will be presented during the initiative, including shiatsu, reflexology, aromatherapy, pranatherapy, crystal therapy, auriculotherapy, iridology, and other holistic practices, with the participation of professionals in the field and specialized professionals. Shiatsu instructor Monica Quirino is also involved in the organization. Demonstrations by the National Police Dog Association will also be held, showcasing the operational and support activities performed by canine units. Annalisa Rizzo, Councilor for Equal Opportunities, states: "This is an opportunity for citizens to meet and discuss issues related to personal well-being, prevention, and quality of life. Initiatives like this help enhance the role of local associations and professionals, creating opportunities for participation and awareness-raising accessible to all. I thank the organizers and those involved for promoting an event that combines information, practical demonstrations, and community outreach." Admission is free, and any donations collected during the event will be donated to the Lions service "A Roar for Research," a charity initiative organized by the Casale dei Marchesi di Monferrato Lions Club to support research and mesothelioma patients, as well as funding community robotic medicine projects.
