Theater season 2025-2026 at the Municipal Theater of Casale Monferrato

The Municipal Theater of Casale Monferrato, in association with Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, presents the new theater season 2025/2026: seven shows included in the season ticket and a program of special recitals and performances not included in the season ticket which will bring to the stage major leading figures on the Italian scene, with particular attention to three thematic areas - accessibility with Teatro No Limits, contemporary dance with We Speak Dance and a cycle of female-oriented shows. The season opens on 18 and 19 November 2025 with Perfetti sconosciuti, comedy by Paolo Genovese starring Dino Abbrescia, Valeria Solarino, Paolo Calabresi, Marco Bonini, Anna Ferzetti and others. The play on 18 November will be audio described within the scope of the Teatro No Limits theater project, which guarantees accessibility for blind and visually impaired viewers. On 15 and 16 December 2025 Amleto², written and performed by Filippo Timi starring Marina Rocco and Elena Lietti, an ironic and surreal rewriting of the Shakespearean masterpiece. On 10 and 11 January 2026, the stage will host Amadeus by Peter Shaffer: Ferdinando Bruni as Salieri and Daniele Fedeli as Mozart will lead a grand production enriched by the costumes of Antonio Marras. The replica on Sunday 11 January will be audio described for Teatro No Limits. On 28 and 29 January 2026 it will be the turn of La Coscienza di Zeno by Italo Svevo, starring Alessandro Haber directed by Paolo Valerio, in an adaptation which restores the relevance of the famous novel. On 19 and 20 February 2026 Trappola per Topi by Agatha Christie, the most performed detective story in theater, starring Ettore Bassi directed by Giorgio Gallione. On 23 and 24 March the season will welcome Marina Massironi with Ma che razza di Otello? a brilliant and intelligent comedy. The show is part of the 2025/2026 program of Piemonte dal Vivo, which dedicates space to a cycle of works focused on the issue of gender, told through battles, achievements and fragility of the female world. The performances for season ticket holders will end on 22 and 23 April 2026 with the show Anna Cappelli by Annibale Ruccello, an intense monologue directed by Claudio Tolcachir and performed by Valentina Picello, also as part of the cycle of shows dedicated to women. Alongside the season ticket shows, the billboard features an important section of special performances. On 28 October 2025 Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead by Tom Stoppard starring Francesco Pannofino, Francesco Acquaroli and Paolo Sassanelli. On 5 February 2026 the comedy Totalmente incompatibili starring Corrado Nuzzo and Maria Di Biase. On 10 and 11 February La mia vita raccontata male by Francesco Piccolo starring Claudio Bisio (the show on the 11th is not included in the season ticket). On 12 March 2026, the theater will host Quando un musicista ride: concert-show starring Elio, directed by Giorgio Gallione, which merges music, comedy and contemporary reflections. The season will close with an event of the widespread festival We Speak Dance, devised by Piemonte dal Vivo to enhance the universal language of dance, taking the excellence of dance to provincial theaters. On 9 and 10 April 2026, the Norwegian choreographer Jo Strømgren will stage A Dance Tribute to the Art of Football, an original tribute to football and to the body, in a mix of visual effects and games of light. The calendar is also enriched by a packed program of shows that are not included in the season ticket: on 24 October 2025 Halloween show with Sleepy Hollow - Dietro al mistero: 8 November 2025 the concert tribute to Morricone - Oscar music with Le Muse Ensemble orchestra: 14 November La Tata Magica of the Association Doppio Esclamativo: 22 November (8:30 p.m.) opera La Traviata, 19 December 2025 the traditional Christmas Concert curated by Amici della Musica with Istituto Carlo Soliva: 31 December 2025 (10 p.m.) New Year's Eve concert Johann Strauss Jr. the king of Waltzes; 6 January 2026 (4 p.m.) operetta The Merry Widow ; 9 January 2026 the Nutcracker by the Ballet Company of Milan; 28 February 2026 the brilliant comedy, Tutta Colpa del Postino; 6 March 2026 Caravaggio. Di chiaro e di oscuro starring Luigi D'Elia and finally on 21 April 2026 Promessa d'amore starring the Legnanesi.
