On Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM, in the tower of the second courtyard of Castello del Monferrato, an in-depth discussion entitled "The Murder of Chiara Poggi" will be held. Organized by Nero Crime and Arte Criminologica, the event is part of the collateral events related to the Criminis exhibition. The event, which can be attended by those attending the exhibition, will open with greetings from Cecilia Strozzi, Chief of Staff of the Mayor of Casale Monferrato, and will feature Armando Palmegiani, criminologist and forensic expert, as well as consultant to Andrea Sempio, and Angela Taccia, Andrea Sempio's lawyer. The Criminis exhibition, housed in the tower and basement of Monferrato Castle, offers a broad overview of justice practices (including torture) over the centuries, from the Inquisition to the present day. Images, objects, and educational materials will provide visitors with a wealth of information. For more information, see the attached poster.
