The Casalese "Giovanni Celoria" Amateur Astronomers Group, in co-organization with the Municipality of Treville, invites you to "The Hidden Day, the Rediscovered Night": on August 12th, Treville will host a partial solar eclipse at sunset (up to 94% obscuration) and the first "Black Night" in Monferrato, with the historic center's lights turned off to rediscover the Milky Way with the naked eye and observe the wonders of the deep sky through a telescope, under the shower of the Perseids. The initiative is sponsored by the Municipality of Treville and the "Giuseppe Spina" Municipal Library, with the scientific patronage of UAI and CieloBuio OdV, and with the support of the CRAL Foundation and the Marchesi del Monferrato Lions Club. The event poster is attached. The complete program, schedule, and registration (required) are available here: www.astropliceloria.it/eventi
