Mayor Claudio Scagliotti intends to embark on a new path of reflection and study with concrete proposals for a green lifestyle that unfolds through the comparison of experiences between the Novara and Monferrato regions. The idea for the event was born in Novara in 2022 thanks to the Atelier51 communications agency, with the need to bring "narrators" representing nature to ever-changing locations. These "narrators" are selected from among the most accredited professionals in the world of science, botany, and architecture, to promote projects that protect natural heritage and promote sustainable living. Saturday, June 13th, is dedicated to Green Architecture with Carlo Lavit Nicora, architect of the award-winning Atelier Lavit studio in Paris, who will present the Little Leisure Lodge "LiLeLo" in Grazzano Badoglio, a town near Asti, which received a special mention at the 2023 Wood Architecture Prize in the "Experimental Architecture" category; to the Sensory and Therapeutic Garden with the collaboration of Monica Botta, an experienced architect and professor of Healing Gardens design, and Stefania Piloni, a physician and professor of Phytotherapy and Nutraceuticals at the University of Milan, author of numerous articles and featured in columns in health and wellness magazines. Sunday, June 14th, is dedicated to the Biodiversity Oases, certified and measurable environmental regeneration projects, with Alessandro Balletta and Debora Minelli, facility manager of Comoli Ferrari SpA, a company that, with the technical support of 3Bee, created the park for the Municipality of Novara. The park features over 30 different species of native plants selected for their nectar supply. Known as Oasi-Tech, it is equipped with all the sensors necessary to monitor pollinating insects. To the world of bees, with Marco Valsesia, beekeeper and communicator, fresh from the "Le Pagine della Terra" literary prize with "The Secret Life of Bees," who presents his recent work "A World Without Bees" between science and poetry and performs a beekeeping demonstration to help adults reconnect with the natural world and young people prepare to defend the planet with the right practices. During the event, you can explore the psychology of color for living with Rah Colors Ambassador Marta Ferri, architect and interior designer. You can also watch live demonstrations of custom eco-friendly rugs created using biophilic design by Panizza Studio.
