On Saturday 25 July at 9.00 pm, the “Saturday Concerts” series at the Castello dei Marchesi Del Carretto in Saliceto continues with “Essere semplici” by Paolo Lova and Stefano Lomen, a performance that follows the tradition of reciting through song and alternates medieval music with readings from the eight letters of St Francis, Canto XI of Paradise and the “Canticle of the Creatures”.
Admission is by voluntary donation to raise funds for the parish of San Lorenzo, to be used for the conservation and restoration of the church of San Martino in Lignera and the Confraternity of St Augustine.
