On Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM, the "Salone dei Cibi Leali" (Fair Foods Fair) will open in the Second Floor Rooms of the Castello del Monferrato. This new exhibition project focuses on the intersection of gastronomic culture, art, design, and relationships. The initiative aims to showcase the Monferrato region through its excellent products, businesses, creativity, and cultural heritage, offering a journey in which food becomes a narrative tool, an aesthetic experience, and an opportunity for dialogue between people, ideas, and diverse realities. The guiding theme of this edition will be "CibiLeaLi – Nourishing the Earth, Nourishing Relationships," a concept that brings together tradition and innovation, agriculture and culture, enhancing the concept of a fair economy inspired by the B.I.L. (Gross Internal Well-being), a model that considers the well-being of people, the quality of relationships, and the health of the territory as fundamental elements for the growth of a community. Among the defining aspects of the exhibition will be the relationship between food & beverage and design, through objects that have become recognizable symbols of contemporary taste culture. The Salone will also offer a reflection on the value of "artfully crafted" products, focusing on the significance of authentic, ethical, and shared craftsmanship. The initiative will involve over thirty artists, businesses, organizations, and associations from the Monferrato and Piedmont regions. Among the participants are the Japanese producer of Onda Sakè, Mitsuto Yagyu, who has developed a production in the Vercelli area that combines Japanese culture and Piedmontese rice-growing tradition, and designer Ferdi Giardini. The opening evening will feature refreshments and a performance by artist Annalisa Rinaldi. The event will also feature the "Il Bicchiere del Barbesino" contest, dedicated to the design of a glass symbolic of the Casale Monferrato area. The exhibition will be open to the public until July 26, 2026, during the opening hours of the Castello del Monferrato. Admission is free. For information: scuoladelgusto@h-for.eu and g.boi@h-for.eu.
