Wine events

May 17 - May 18, 2026 · Castellinaldo d'Alba

The third edition of the event ‘La Primavera del Castellinaldo: Barbera d’Alba’ returns to Piazza Castello in Castellinaldo d’Alba, an occasion designed to celebrate one of the most distinctive expressions of Barbera d’Alba, deeply rooted in the territory of Castellinaldo d’Alba and the work of its wineries.

The highlight of the event for the public will be on Sunday 17 May, from 3pm to 7pm, when the town centre will host an afternoon of tastings dedicated to wine enthusiasts, wine lovers and consumers.

The tasting counter will feature the direct presence of the wineries, a true hallmark of the initiative. Indeed, it will be the producers themselves who personally describe the wines, the work in the vineyard and in the cellar, the stylistic choices and the identity of a territory that, over time, has developed a distinct character within the Barbera d’Alba appellation. Around 20 wineries from the Castellinaldo Winegrowers’ Association will be taking part in the tasting, offering samples of: Castellinaldo Barbera d’Alba, the star wine of the event, and a second wine made from the Arneis grape, a further expression of the local wine-growing heritage.

Access to the tasting counter will be available with an entry ticket costing €10.00 (unlimited tastings, not subject to a ticket). The purchase of the tasting ticket includes a small plate of typical accompaniments featuring Gorgonzola and cured meats.

The day will conclude with the Producers’ Dinner, on reservation, scheduled for 7.30 pm, designed as a convivial and concluding event.

The event will then continue on Monday 18 May with a programme reserved for professionals and the press, thus rounding off a two-day event that combines promotion, showcasing the local area and professional networking. Accreditation via email to stampa.eventi@gowinet.it
