"Music Day" with "New Skin"

June 26, 2026 · Casale Monferrato

On Friday, June 26, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM, "Music Day" will take place between the city center and the courtyard of the Civic Library at Via Cavour 5. This event, dedicated to rock and alternative music, is part of the "New Skin" initiative, promoted by the City of Casale Monferrato as part of the "Work & Play" project. The day will kick off in the afternoon with street artists on Via Roma and Via Saffi, and will continue at 9:00 PM in the Library courtyard with three concerts featuring Independent Funk, Smokin' Tears, and Jupiters Project, offering sounds ranging from funk to pop rock to progressive rock. Over the course of the day, there will also be additional activities and spaces dedicated to young people, including the Monfreestyle Traveling Playroom, the Diffused Educational Center, the Mystico Cultural Association, the MoNi food truck, and Juno Tattoo Studio. The initiative is part of the "New Skin" program, created thanks to the contribution of the Piedmont Region through the "Piemonte per i Giovani" call for proposals and developed by the City of Casale Monferrato in collaboration with the Vedogiovane social cooperative and a local network of schools, associations, services, and educational organizations. The project, aimed at young people between the ages of 16 and 25, offers activities dedicated to participation, socialization, training, and personal growth throughout 2026. "'New Skin' continues to offer opportunities designed by young people and for young people, promoting languages and forms of aggregation capable of engaging and building relationships. 'Music Day' represents a meeting point open to the city, where music, creativity, and socializing intertwine in an accessible and inclusive context," stated Irene Caruso, Councilor for Social and Family Policies. Access to all initiatives is free.
