On Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Manica Lunga of Castello del Monferrato will host the opening of "Between Water and Breath," a photography exhibition by artists Lara Zanardi and Alfredo Spagna. The expressive theme revolves around the relationship between the human body and water, used as a visual and symbolic element. The shots are taken underwater or in direct contact with water, which becomes the context in which the subjects move and transform, highlighting a dimension suspended between reality and representation. The project develops a visual narrative in which water takes on multiple functions: a physical environment, but also an element that modifies the perception of bodies, blurring their boundaries and amplifying their emotional component. The photographs explore themes such as vulnerability, change, and the relationship with the natural environment, constructing a simple and immediate visual narrative. The works on display create an exhibition that uses water as a common thread to explore the connection between the individual and nature, without a linear narrative structure but through a sequence of images united by atmosphere and visual language. The exhibition will be open to the public, with free admission, until April 25, 2026: Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
