THERE IS NO RUSH, held at the Bell Tower in La Morra, is a solo exhibition by artist Andrés Avré, an Italian painter who draws inspiration from the transformation of matter, the dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary, and the infinite, ephemeral signs that life reveals to us. His painting, in its restless quest to endlessly interrogate space, recovers primordial values—microcosms of earth and matter newly emerged from chaos—and, at the same time, overlapping layers upon which both humans and nature leave their traces.
