GERMINALE - Monferrato Art Fest - 3rd Edition 2026 A multi-venue exhibition showcasing established and mid-career artists, alongside young talents involved in special projects. Casale Monferrato's participation in Germinale marks a milestone for the festival. The exhibition unites three iconic spaces in the city, activating the architectural heritage through a dialogue between the memory of places and contemporary art: Monferrato Castle, specifically its Manica Lunga, will host a photographic project with an intimate, nocturnal atmosphere, presented by two artists, Ugo Ricciardi and Sophie-Anne Herin. The Piccolo Chiostro of the Bistolfi Civic Museum welcomes Simone Benedetto's open-air sculptures, populating them with figures of children transforming into plants and animals, a metaphor for inner transformation. The Liberty Kiosk in Piazza Castello will be transformed into a living laboratory for the duration of the festival, hosting an artist-in-residence program for under-35s. At the end of the program, a work of art will be donated to the community. The festival will continue until Sunday, October 4th.
