From June 6, 2026 to July 26, 2026 On Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Fossili Moderni 2026" will open in the Saloni Morano in Rosignano Monferrato, on Via Roma. The exhibition is curated by architect Maria Grazia Dapuzzo, assisted by art critic Giuseppe Castelli and Count Niccolò Calvi di Bergolo. Fossili Moderni 2026 had a prologue at the Bergamina of Piovera Castle in May, before moving to Rosignano Monferrato, where it will be open to visitors in June and July. Thirty-one exhibiting artists, including painters, sculptors, engravers, and photographers, have created works on the theme, using a variety of techniques and materials: Antonella Angiolini, Andrea Armagni, Pietro Bisio, Niccolò Calvi di Bergolo, Lucia Caprioglio, Aurora Capuano, Emilio Carrea, Lucia Conti, Maria Grazia Dapuzzo, Albina Dealessi, Lorenzo Emanuel, Tina Fabbrizio, Andrea Fedeli, Alessandra Guenna, Giorgio Grosso, Leonardo Ippolito, Vincenzo Lagalla, Lorena Lavezzo, Renato Luparia, Joy Moore, Piergiorgio Panelli, Tiziana Prato, Grazia Simeone, Antonina Simanovica, Cleme Rava, Rossella Sartorelli, Josa Grazia Smilovich, Flavia Nasrin Testa, Lucio Mayoor Tosi, Gianna Turrin, and Carlo Traverso. The exhibition will feature stone sculptures, works with wood inlays made from various types of wood, natural wood sculptures, sculptures made from chestnut spheroblasts and other woods, works made from recycled iron and aluminum, plexiglass, beeswax, and wire. Mixed-media paintings include oils on canvas, acrylics, tempera sticks, terracotta with enamels and photographic paper on canvas, photographic collages, watercolor and ink on paper, handmade paper with clay pastels and gold leaf on canvas, oil and oil pastels for vegetable cardboard, gold leaf and acrylic on transparent fabric, and graphic works.
