From 2 to 30 July, ‘July in Alfieri Park – Words and Music’ returns to Magliano Alfieri, the summer festival organised by the public library in collaboration with the local council.
Now in its thirteenth year, the event will take place every Thursday of the month at 9 pm in the picturesque setting of the belvedere, offering a tried-and-tested format that combines contemporary literature, live music performances and a convivial atmosphere.
Kicking off the programme on Thursday 2 July will be Maurizio Torchio with his novel *La peggior specie* (The Worst Species), a noir-style investigation set in the Langhe hills, accompanied by the musical sounds of I Farina Tree Duo.
As is tradition, each event will be preceded by a gastronomic preview curated by chef Stefano Paganini, who will present a themed dinner inspired by the evening’s book. For information and bookings, please contact the restaurant on 0173 66244 or email info@stefanopaganini.it.
