Starting December 6, 2025, the new "Human Experience" exhibition will be open, integrating and renewing the three exhibitions currently held in the Torrione of the second courtyard of Castello del Monferrato: "Real Bodies," "Criminis," and "Omicidi Seriali." The exhibition will introduce a series of new installations designed to enrich the experience of the three exhibitions with a different and original theoretical perspective. Real Bodies features bodies that faithfully reproduce the poses of Leonardo da Vinci's anatomical studies, including the iconic "Vitruvian Man." Each installation will be accompanied by educational materials and visual aids that will allow visitors to delve deeper into the work of the genius, including reproductions of his famous anatomical drawings. As part of "Serial Murders," the new exhibition will introduce a section dedicated to the theme of "present absence," shifting the focus to the victims and their stories. The exhibition will invite visitors to reflect on the human and social impact of brutal crimes, offering a broader perspective that goes beyond the news to touch on the emotional, relational, and community aspects of these events. The "Criminis" exhibition will feature a partial redesign, incorporating new tools, artifacts, and narrative content from the Palazzo delle Prigioni in Venice. This will enrich the section dedicated to justice systems and historical methods of torture and investigation, with additional testimonies that will provide insight into the issues of legality and the evolution of judicial practices. Casale Monferrato Mayor Emanuele Capra emphasized: "These updates are part of the in-depth exploration that has accompanied these months of opening. The addition of new content allows us to offer a broader experience, capable of maintaining visitor interest in these highly successful exhibitions." Tickets will be available for purchase directly at the exhibition for €15.00 (full price) and €12.00 (reduced price for under 18s, over 65s, and people with disabilities, whose companions have free admission). The exhibition will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm (last admission at 6:00 pm). Closed Sunday, April 5, 2026. Open Monday, April 6.
