On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in the Council Chamber of Palazzo San Giorgio, the Department of Public Education, Training, and Labor of the City of Casale Monferrato, in collaboration with the Kyoto Club, is organizing the meeting "Green Economy. Business and Sustainability." This meeting will provide an opportunity for institutions, businesses, and citizens to discuss the opportunities offered by the ecological transition and the new professional profiles required by the labor market. Speakers will include Agostino Re Rebaudengo, President of Asja Energy, who will address the energy transition and investing in younger generations; Laura Bruni, Development Plan & Influence Strategy Director at Schneider Electric, who will present the postgraduate course "Energy & Digital Process Specialist"; and Filippo Capurso, sustainability coordinator at Andriani Società Benefit, who will illustrate the company's experience in sustainable innovation in the food sector. The meeting will be moderated by journalist Chiara Conti, a communications expert in the fields of economics, labor, and business. The day will kick off in the morning with an initiative aimed at students from the city's secondary schools. The same speakers will be guests of the Sobrero Institute for a meeting dedicated to the Green Economy, during which they will explore with students the topics of sustainability, innovation, and the skills required for the professions of the future, strengthening the dialogue between schools and the business world. The September 22nd meeting represents the second stage, following the May conference "Feeling Well at Work. Ongoing Experiences in Corporate Welfare," in the run-up to "Make the Right Move," the event promoted by the City of Casale Monferrato. This November 6th event will bring together businesses, schools, universities, training institutions, employment agencies, the Armed Forces, and Law Enforcement at the Palafiere "Riccardo Coppo." This event will offer students, families, and citizens an important opportunity for orientation and interaction with the world of education and employment. The event aims to repeat the success of the 2025 edition, which attracted over 2,700 visitors and 54 companies. Fiorenzo Pivetta, Councilor for Education, Training, and Employment for the City of Casale Monferrato, emphasizes: "One hundred days before the fifth edition of 'Make the Right Move,' scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Palafiere "Riccardo Coppo," we continue our approach to the event with a new event dedicated to the topics of training, orientation, and employment. Following the conference on corporate welfare, we propose a moment of in-depth study on the Green Economy, one of the sectors most transforming the labor market and which will offer important professional opportunities to the new generations. The involvement of students from the morning, through the meeting at the Sobrero Institute, goes precisely towards putting young people in direct contact with those who work every day in the world of business and innovation. We want to offer concrete tools to guide their educational and professional choices, while also promoting the entrepreneurial excellence and opportunities that our region is able to offer. With this in mind, we have chosen to construct 'Make the Right Move' as an itinerary that accompanies the territory throughout the year and not as a one-off event. Participation in the meeting is free of charge; for more information and to confirm your attendance, please write to lavoro@comune.casale-monferrato.al.it or call +39 0142 444205.
