Asti is preparing to become the Italian capital of the art of flag-waving. From Friday, June 26th, through Sunday, June 28th, the city will host the 27th Youth Flag-Waving Games and the 3rd FISB Paratenzone, the national championship of the Italian Flag-Wavers Federation reserved for athletes under 15.
The event, organized by the Rione Santa Caterina of the Palio di Asti Aps, will bring 44 historical groups from all over Italy and over 1100 young athletes to the city’s historic center, with more than 200 performances in the courtyard of the Episcopal Seminary and in Piazza Roma.
