From July 20th to 24th, twelve students from around the world will work on a local project, transforming the landscape into an open-air classroom and making the local community an active part of the design process.
“Forestiera—Natural Solutions for a Resilient Community” is a project promoted by the Fondazione dei Santi Lorenzo e Teobaldo, which is transforming the woods surrounding the La Pineta nursing home in Cerretto Langhe into an experimental laboratory for ecological, social, and landscape regeneration. The Alta Langa forest, along the ancient Salt Road, is not merely a natural element to be preserved, but an ally and a teacher capable of generating biodiversity, well-being, energy, knowledge, and new relationships.
On Friday, July 24th, starting at 4pm., the projects will be presented to the public, followed by the concert RADICI SONORE—a forest performance for strings, percussion, and electronics.......refreshments will follow.
