The Mombercelli Civic Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MUSarMO) will host two exhibitions from May 16 to June 14, 2026:
Ann Stefani’s exhibition “Second Life – In Balance” explores the impact of consumerism on the environment, the animal world, and the human emotions it can evoke.
After viewing images of plastic pollution, poisoned rivers, and farm animals (struggling for freedom), Ann Stefani’s works—which breathe new life into discarded objects—prompt us to reflect on the cost of modern life and encourage us to reduce waste and live more sustainably.
Francesco Balbo’s exhibition “Galassie di Metallo” highlights how fantastical worlds can be created using materials considered “scrap” from manufacturing. Pieces of wood, metal, and stone are salvaged, cut, welded, and painted through an “instinctive and random process rooted in Italian Arte Povera, an assemblage that gives life to new artistic narratives.”
