“Casale Città Aperta” is the traditional initiative to get to know the monuments and the city museums (some of which are only open on this occasion), organized by the Department of Culture – Civic Museum and usually scheduled during the Antiques Market. The initiative is scheduled on the second Sunday of the month and the preceding Saturday (in August it is only held on the Sunday and in a reduced form in terms of monuments open to visitors). It is recommended to check the list of tourist attractions open to the public and the relevant opening hours at the beginning of the month. Every second Sunday of the month free guided tours at 3 p.m. (3.30 p.m. in summer) departure point is the Tourist Information Kiosk, Piazza Castello curated by Associazione Orizzonte Casale. Extra editions are scheduled in March (on the feast of San Giuseppe) and in September (to coincide with the Wine Festival of UNESCO Monferrato). Opening times (in general): Saturday 3.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. Sunday 10 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. / 3.30 p.m. – 6.30 p.m. (to check closer to the time for the single tourist attractions). In winter, early closure at 5.30 p.m. The list of tourist attractions open during the event may be subject to changes. For more information refer to the link shown below
