Mostra Di Arte Contemporanea Animals C3a5d821b25144dc2bc2da70a800495d

The ECHORAMA Association, in collaboration with the City of Casale Monferrato, is organizing the contemporary art exhibition "ANIMALS," which will be held in the former Chapel of the Castle of Casale Monferrato (AL) from April 4 to 26, 2026. The exhibition will present contemporary works by artists Filippo Biagioli, Lucia Caprioglio, Laura Chiarello, Jessica Einaudi, Giorgio Grosso, Gloria Iodice, Francesco Marinaro, Gigi Marini, Alessia Meglio, and Piergiorgio Panelli. Through the eyes of artists with diverse yet complementary styles and techniques, united by a powerful expressive originality, the theme of the exhibition will come to life through totemic animals, fantastical or surreal creatures, and reflections on the relationship between humans and animals. A journey through the ape-like sculptures of Francesco Marinaro (Turin) and the figures fashioned from recycled materials by Giorgio Grosso (Asti), the primordial and tribal languages of Filippo Biagioli (Serravalle Pistoiese) and the watercolor creatures of Jessica Einaudi (Monferrato/Milan), the graphic works of Alessia Meglio (Vercelli) and the vibrant signs of Lucia Caprioglio (Turin), the contemporary pop reflections of Gigi Marini (Casale Monferrato) and Laura Chiarello (Villamiroglio), the meditative iconography of Gloria Iodice (Castelfranco Veneto/Casale) and the abstract naturalism of Piergiorgio Panelli (Casale Monferrato), which will bring us closer to the fascinating mysteries of these creatures. The exhibition is part of the "Voci di Notte – FAUNA" initiative, promoted by Echorama, which also includes a literary competition and a mail art and digital art project dedicated to fauna. The theme of the initiative and the exhibition were chosen to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, which coincides with World Animal Day, October 4, 2026, and also the year in which the WWF, the global organization for the conservation of biodiversity, celebrates its 65th anniversary. As part of the exhibition, on Saturday, April 18, at 4:00 pm, the anthology of short stories "Chloé Has Blue Eyes - The Human-Animal Bond in Respect and Sharing," published by Tripla E, will also be presented. Proceeds from this event support the A.S.Se.A. association, which provides pet therapy services in Piedmont. The ANIMALS exhibition is supported by the Fondazione Cassa Risparmio di Alessandria and under the patronage of the Piedmont Region, the Province of Alessandria, and the City of Casale Monferrato. Admission is free and open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The opening viewing will be held on Saturday, April 4th at 5:30 pm. Information about the exhibition is available online at www.vocidinotte.it.
