"Human Experience": A new itinerary for the "Real Bodies," "Criminis," and "Serial Murders" exhibitions.

From 6 December 2025 it will be possible to visit the new exhibition route "Human Experience", which will integrate and renew the three exhibitions set up in the spaces of the Tower of the second courtyard of the Castle of Monferrato: "Real bodies", "Criminis" and "Omicidi Seriali". The route will introduce a series of new installations designed to increase the enjoyment of the three exhibitions with a different and original theoretical style. As regards "Real Bodies", the public will be able to observe bodies which faithfully reproduce the poses of the anatomical studies of Leonardo Da Vinci, including the iconic "Vitruvian Man": each installation will be accompanied by educational material and visual supports to deepen the work of the genius, thanks also to the reproduction of his famous anatomical drawings. Within the scope of "Omicidi Seriali", the new installation will introduce a section dedicated to the theme of "present absence" which will shift the attention to the victims and their stories. The route will invite the visitor to reflect on the human and social impact of abhorrent crimes, offering a vaster point of view which goes beyond the event, touching the emotional, relational and community aspects connected to these events. The "Criminis" exhibition, on the other hand, presents a partial rearrangement which includes new tools, finds and narrative contents directly from Palazzo delle Prigioni of Venice. This will enrich the section dedicated to the justice systems and historical methods of torture and investigations, with further evidence that will allow to deepen the issue of legality and the evolution of the judicial practices. The Mayor of Casale Monferrato, Emanuele Capra, has underlined: "The updates introduced fit into the path of in-depth study that has accompanied these months of opening. The integration of new contents allows to offer a wider experience able to keep alive visitor interest in these exhibitions which have been very successful". The tickets, will be available to purchase directly at the exhibition for €15 (full) and €12 (reduced for under 18 and over 65 and people with disability with caregiver who will have free entry).
