The Easter Egg Hunt, organized on Easter Saturday by the G. Spina Municipal Library and the Circolino Treville Aps, under the patronage of the Municipality of Treville, has become a long-awaited tradition for children, who flock to the small hilltop village armed with baskets to participate in team games and the hunt for colored eggs. On Saturday, April 4th, at 4:00 PM, participants will meet in Piazzetta Surbone, in front of the Circolino Aps in the heart of Treville, just steps from the Municipal Library. Solving small riddles and puzzles and competing in games of skill will be the steps to earn points that teams will then use to advance to the actual egg hunt. Among the games of skill, the long-awaited "Batumma l'oeuv" returns: participating children are asked to bring six hard-boiled eggs from home, their shells uncracked. The children will compete in pairs, knocking their eggs against each other's without breaking the shell. Before the fight, the children must propose the challenge by inviting their partner with a "gentle" question: "Batumma?" If the answer is yes, the battle begins, a battle of technique, not strength. The winner will be the one who keeps the most intact eggs. There will also be a reading of a short Easter story, which listening to is part of the hunt. The groups will be led by friendly bunnies who will coordinate the team's activities.
