A new collaboration has been launched between the Giorgio Faletti Astense Library and the A. Monti Music High School: the result is “Corde tra le righe” (Strings Between the Lines), a free guitar concert featuring a number of students from the school, pupils of Professors Gabriele Manfredi and Fabio Renda, which will take place on Tuesday 28 April at 5 pm at the Library.
One of the event’s objectives is to restore a central role to young people; for this reason, the young guitarists were asked to suggest a title for the concert and to choose an opening passage from a book to be read at the start. The pieces will be introduced by the teachers, to help the audience better appreciate the works, and will feature students from Year 1 to Year 5 performing a repertoire spanning different eras.
