Concert to celebrate the Civic Museum's 31st anniversary

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Cloister of Santa Croce at Via Cavour 5, the Quartetto Doré will perform a concert to mark the 31st anniversary of the opening of the Civic Museum and the Bistolfi Plaster Cast Gallery. Admission to the collections and the exhibition "Here Italy is Made. The Figure of the Hero from Bistolfi to Baroni" will be free. The event represents a symbolic moment to highlight one of the city's main cultural assets, combining music with the enjoyment of the museum's heritage. To mark the anniversary, free admission to the collections of the Civic Museum and the Bistolfi Plaster Cast Gallery and the exhibition "Here Italy is Made. The Figure of the Hero from Bistolfi to Baroni" will be available from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM until the concert begins. The Doré Quartet, founded in 2021 and active nationally and internationally, is composed of Ilaria Taioli and Samuele Di Gioia on violins, Salvatore Emanuel Borrelli on viola, and Caterina Vannoni on cello. The ensemble is distinguished by its high-level training and development, with performances at festivals and musical institutions in Italy and abroad. The concert, part of the Echos Festival program, is organized in collaboration with the Stauffer Foundation of Cremona.
