The underground room houses the Carlo Vidua collection, featuring travel accounts collected by the Monferrato traveler during three long journeys around the world in the early 19th century. The Synagogue and Jewish Museums will be closed to the public. The Cathedral Museum Tour Open Sacristy is open to visitors on Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The city of Casale Monferrato is currently hosting part of the "Germinale" art circuit, which aims to enhance the city's exceptional architectural heritage through three distinct projects. These projects will spark a dynamic dialogue between the ancient memory of these places and contemporary languages, transforming these monuments from guardians of the past into living laboratories for the future. This triangulation of spaces—with the Monferrato Castle as the exhibition venue, the Civic Museum's small cloister as an open-air space for interaction, and the Liberty Kiosk in Piazza Castello as an incubator of ideas—makes Casale Monferrato a comprehensive and multidisciplinary venue, showcasing the best of "Germinale"'s design. The installation locations, open to the public, are: - MONFERRATO CASTLE – MANICA LUNGA with the two-person exhibition by Ugo Ricciardi and Sophie-Anne Herin; - CIVIC MUSEUM – CHIOSTRO PICCOLO with the open-air exhibition of sculptures by Simone Benedetto; - THE LIBERTY KIOSK IN PIAZZA CASTELLO with the artist-in-residence program.
