For those of you who are keen cyclists, don’t miss the event on Saturday 27 June 2026, as the Men’s Elite Road Championship will get underway in Asti – undoubtedly one of the most eagerly awaited events on the national cycling calendar. The winner will be presented with the tricolour jersey, the symbol of the Italian title, which they will wear for an entire season in road races. Great stamina – even in the heat we’ve been experiencing of late – along with strategy and tactical skill will be key to this thrilling challenge, which in 2026 will bring the best riders to the roads of Piedmont, showcasing the region and its great sporting tradition.
The race will start from Asti… Piazza…?...… at 10.50 am, finishing in Cuneo… Piazza… at 5 pm after a gruelling 232.5 km and 2,500 metres of elevation gain!
