Refreshment area with traditional Monferrato dishes throughout the day. Extemporaneous painting with an exhibition of paintings and photos. Boat trips with the "Amici del Po" (Friends of the Po River) Balloons and surprises with the Leo Club and Lions Club. For more information, see the attached flyer. ***************************************** Rules ASSOCIATION OF THE HISTORICAL BOTTLES EXTEMPORANEOUS PAINTING on the Lungo Po in Casale Monferrato Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 RULES - The competition consists of a work of art to be created on-site on Lungo Po Gramsci, where a market will also be set up. Open to all artists of age who must arrive at 9:00 a.m. and set up in their assigned area to create their work. - The theme of the extemporaneous exhibition is "Glimpses of the Po River and its surroundings." - Copying from photographs, sketches, drawings, or other digital media is not permitted. - There are no age restrictions. - All painting techniques are permitted. - Each artist may submit only one work, which will be stamped upon arrival at the designated booth. Additionally, each artist may freely display one or more paintings on their own easels. - Each participant must bring a canvas, sheet of paper, or a blank support, and the necessary materials. - The registration fee, to be paid upon stamping of the canvases, is €10.00 and includes a choice of lunch dish plus water. The works, which must be unsigned and provided with hangers, will be exhibited and judged on site from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM by a special jury composed of local painters and teachers. The awards ceremony will take place approximately at 5:00 PM, with the following prizes awarded: 1st Prize €100 2nd Prize €75 3rd Prize €50 We are currently evaluating possible additional prizes in the form of local products. The works must be collected by 7:00 PM.
