Ambra Angiolini presents her directorial debut with a work she defines as real and strongly contemporary for "human" needs, in a theatrical form that has ennobled her over the years and allowed her to mature in the quality of her artistic choices. A "group soliloquy," Angiolini calls it, tragicomic, dark and bitter, bright and dark, in the gigantic oxymoron that is everyone's life. With Benni's literary virtuosity, Ambra also scans the remnants of her past, unraveling what she's missing, reclaiming her piece V of W. "W" will once again become a whole woman, wonderfully nonconformist, solid in the cracks of fragility, having rebuilt her body and her humanity before everyone, in a world seemingly too cynical and devoid of human ambition.
