ARTEFORA Summer Fest - Castiglione Tinella

Art Exhibition, Music

June 20 - June 21, 2026 · Alba (CN), Barbaresco (AT) Castagnole delle Lanze (AT), CastIglione Tinella (CN), Neive (CN), Santo Stefano Belbo (CN)

On Saturday 20 June at 6 pm at Artefora in Castiglione Tinella, the third edition of the international contemporary art festival “La collina sale sempre” will be inaugurated. This widespread event is scheduled to run until 5 July across Castiglione Tinella, Mango, Neive, Barbaresco, Santo Stefano Belbo and Castagnole delle Lanze.

“La collina sale sempre” is part of the “Orma. Tracce d’artista in Langhe Monferrato Roero”, a project by the Langhe Monferrato Roero Tourism Board that promotes the enhancement of the region through contemporary culture. The festival is also included in the “Capitali Sorelle” section for “Alba Capitale dell’Arte Contemporanea 2027”, contributing to the wide range of artistic offerings in the areas involved.

Curated by Marzia Capannolo, the festival will feature artists from Italy, Latvia, Brazil, Uruguay, the United States and Argentina, invited to explore the theme of transformation, inspired by a passage from Cesare Pavese’s *The Moon and the Bonfires*. The works will be hosted in venues that are deeply rooted in the local identity – churches, Romanesque bell towers, wine cellars, historic farmhouses and exhibition spaces – through installations and interventions specifically designed to engage with the history and characteristics of each location.

The following day, Sunday 21 June, at 11 am, the festival will stop off at the Enoteca Regionale Colline del Moscato in Mango, where a group exhibition exploring the relationship between transformation, nature and the memory of places will be opened. In the afternoon, at 6 pm, the programme will continue at the church of Santa Maria del Piano in Neive with a new site-specific installation and a harp concert, continuing the dialogue between contemporary art, landscape and the local area that lies at the very heart of the project.

The exhibitions and installations will be open to visitors until 5 July
