Approdi Teatrali: the Po becomes a stage

The Po River as you've never seen (or heard) it before: on Sunday, May 24, the Amici del Po Association of Casale Monferrato, in collaboration with the Compagnia Teatrale Fubinese, presents Approdi Teatrali, an original cultural experience that combines theater, landscape, and river navigation. For one day, the Po River will transform into an open-air theater. Spectators will be accompanied by boats along the river, reaching various natural landing places that will become "sets" for a traveling show. Here, among the banks, vegetation, and sounds of the water, stories and performances by the Compagnia Teatrale Fubinese will come to life, designed to engage with the surrounding environment. Approdi Teatrali was created with the aim of enhancing the local area through a new way of enjoying culture: no longer static spectators, but participants in motion, immersed in an experience that blends art and nature. The river thus becomes not just a backdrop, but an active protagonist of the narrative. The event will feature multiple sessions for a limited number of spectators, ensuring a quality experience and sustainability. Departures will take place from the Amici del Po headquarters in Casale Monferrato, at Via Bosso 2/Viale Morozzo San Michele 3. In case of inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Sunday, May 31st. Reservations are strongly recommended. The Amici del Po di Casale, reestablished in 2013, is a volunteer association in Casale dedicated to promoting the development, maintenance, and preservation of the culture, landscape, and river traditions of Casale.
