This summer, the classic Cammini Divini nighttime event in Ponzano returns, returning to Monferrato after its summer mountain outings. It's scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2026, in Ponzano Monferrato, celebrating the Patron Saint's Day, with the now-classic nighttime walk. Meeting is scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Pro Loco office for registration at Via Sottoripa, 3. https://goo.gl/maps/3tFidac16uxySChz5 The start will be around 8:00 PM for an easy nature hike of about 8 km and 200 meters of elevation gain. This hike, crossing the municipality of Ponzano from the top of its hills, will allow us to spot shooting stars. The route winds along dirt roads and paved roads with little traffic, without any particular difficulty. Nearing the end of the walk, we'll reach the top of Monte Uliveto, where the experts from the "Giovanni Celoria" Casalese Amateur Astronomers Group will be waiting to show us the celestial sky with their telescopes! As always, we'll enjoy the warm welcome of the Nazzari Franco Vini winery, which will also give us the opportunity to taste some of their wines. A delicious midnight snack awaits us at the end of our walk, prepared by Pro Loco volunteers. A headlamp or flashlight is required. We also recommend comfortable clothing and sports shoes, mosquito repellent, and a supply of water. Nordic Walking poles will be provided free of charge for those who wish, subject to availability. N.B.: Reservations are required if you wish to participate in the walk and the final snack! Participation fees: €10 each for the walk € $20 each for the midnight snack Menu: appetizers, first course, and dessert. Water included, wine and coffee not included.
