On Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Teatro Sociale “G. Busca” in Alba (Cn), the 2026 Lattes Grinzane Prize ceremony will take place, hosted by Alessandro Mari.
As part of the event, a tribute will be paid to the founder of the Bottari Lattes Foundation, Caterina Bottari Lattes, who recently passed away, and Special Prize winner Amitav Ghosh will deliver a keynote lecture.
Finally, the name of this year’s winner will be announced. The nominees are Julia Deck with *Ann of England* (Adelphi, translated by Yasmina Melaouah), Mathias Enard with *Disertare* (e/o, translated by Yasmina Melaouah), Andrew Miller with *La terra d’inverno* (NNE, translated by Ada Arduini), Andrew Porter with *La vita immaginata* (Feltrinelli, translated by Ada Arduini), and Clara Usón with *Le belve* (Sellerio, translated by Silvia Sichel).
Once again this year, the event is part of the cultural program of the Alba International White Truffle Fair. The event will be streamed live on the Bottari Lattes Foundation’s website and social media channels.
