In the splendid setting of Casale Monferrato Castle, fifty years after his death, the first meeting dedicated to engineer Walter Becchia will be held. In the 1920s, he designed racing engines for Fiat and Talbot Lago cars, and later the engines for Citroën's most iconic models, the 2CV and its derivatives, and the DS19. Inside the castle, there will be an exhibition of Citroën vehicles powered by Walter Becchia, along with a room dedicated to his work, projects, mechanical parts, and his life story. On Sunday morning, starting at approximately 10:30 a.m., in the Castle's exhibition room, Walter Becchia will be introduced to the public. Federico Volontè and Michele Lemme, along with their guests, will share some history, curiosities, and anecdotes, and a roundtable discussion will be held to share and learn about his achievements. Participants arriving at the event with their classic cars will have reserved parking in front of the castle entrance, on Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
