The exhibition at La Casa sul Portone highlights the forty years of experience in ceramics of Maestro Roberto Di Giorgio, who has successfully experimented with various ceramic techniques throughout his career, both low and high temperature (stoneware, porcelain, majolica, raku). In addition, he also produces his own clays and glazes, as he is a skilled connoisseur of raw materials. His concept of “ceramics” is versatile and broad; in fact, he does not shy away from experimentation and the use of different materials (e.g. canvas, iron, wood, etc.), which complement clay, but clay remains the protagonist.
