From Saturday 6 September, the Church of San Gregorio in Cherasco will host a photographic exhibition by Maria Mesiano, a native of Cherasco, dedicated to the charcoal burners of Serra San Bruno.
During the exhibition period, a conference entitled “Carbonari and Gypsum Miners of Cherasco” has also been organised for Friday 12 September at 8.45 p.m., with free admission, curated by Barbara Davico, archivist and librarian of Cherasco, with the participation of Bruno Tibaldi and Mario Novarino and testimonies from Carlo Marenda.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from 6 to 28 September 2025, on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 pm to 7 pm, with free admission.
