On the occasion of the rearrangement and reopening of the Ripe path, a pedestrian link that connects Dogliani Borgo to Dogliani Castello, the Municipality of Dogliani has organized the staging of the widespread exhibition "Images of Silence. The adventurous history of Torino's silent films" curated by the National Cinema Museum of Turin, a selection of images from the large exhibition of the same name held by the museum in 2006 inside the Mole Antonelliana.
The outdoor itinerary consists of 12 large photographic panels: from the Multilanghe Cinema (Piazza Gorizia), it continues along the path to reach the Belvedere di Castello, passing also in the local “Ciancè” and concludes inside the Chiesetta del Ritiro, with an unpublished selection of 9 photographs from the film “Cabiria”
The exhibition will be open from May 16 to Sept. 30; the Retreat Church will be open with the following hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The outdoor panels can always be visited.
